When you join our UK Careline team, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing day to day customer service-related operational tasks to ensure delivery meets customer expectations and is consistent with set process performance indicators, applicable service level agreements and the customer service functions core values.

  • Leveraging the understanding of specific processes and systems

  • Acting as the first and second point of contact for any verbal or written enquiries from external customers and consumers and internal customers from the BP Business and third parties. (These customers will include retail fuelling sites, branded and unbranded customers, commercial and strategic accounts and terminals.)

  • Provide customer service online and through phone, fax and email to support activities including:

    • Account set-up, allocation and delivery issues.

    •  Order processing and order fulfilment.

    •  Sales order tracking.

    • Monitor supply outages and react accordingly for incoming and existing orders.

    •  Retail marketing programme information, policy and product fulfilment.

    •  Retail site experience complaints, fuel quality claims, site locator etc.

    • Complaint resolution, identification and management of complaint root causes.

  • Logging, assigning and tracking progress of queries and customer requests from receipt to completion, ensuring data is accurately entered and maintained in all customer service and data collection systems.

  • Supporting Global Business Service activities through immediate triage, escalation (high risk customer issues - financial, legal, reputation), resolution or logging and forwarding of customer inquiries and issues.


We are looking for you for the Customer Service Intern role if you:

  • Have ongoing studies and active Hungarian student status for at least 6 more months from on-boarding on

  • Can invest at least 25 working hours per week according to agreed schedule

  • Speak English on an advanced (B2 or above) level

  • Are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Economics or IT – already completed your first year at university

  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

  • Can deal with complex situations while maintaining the right balance of customer and business focus

  • Have experience working both independently and in a team-oriented environment

  • Maintain working knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
